The Bill (Reg. No. 0920) "is aimed at establishment of legal and organizational principles of holding agricultural inventory in Ukraine that will grant objective information necessary for development of State policy in agriculture". The Bill defines types, grounds, periodicity of holding agricultural inventory, its material and technical, and organizational provision.
Pursuant to the Bill, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is to pass a resolution on holding agricultural inventory. The total agricultural inventory is to be held once in ten years within the terms coordinated with the holding of world agricultural inventories. The subject agricultural inventories are held in the period between total inventories with the aim of more extensive analysis of particular phenomena and processes in agriculture.
The People´s Deputies stated that the Bill is not regulative and does not alter current procedure of holding State statistical investigations.
